Situation Watercolors
After creating a suite of characters and objects, I decided to give the inanimate objects anthropomorphic qualities by putting them in human-like situations.
I did a series of pencil sketches based on my catalog of objects. All of the elements in the illustrations were from my memory and I used no source imagery to create them in order to create a more fantastical, authentic image. The finished pieces are watercolor and ink, approximately 4 inches by 7 inches.
